Veterans’ Information Services (VIS)
The Veterans’ Information Service is located within the Hervey Bay Centrelink Service Centre in Hunter Street, directly opposite the RSL Club. The Veterans’ Information Service has Department of Veterans’ Affairs’ trained staff who have access to DVA computer systems and can provide information of DVA benefits and entitlements. The Veterans’ Information Service DVA trained staff are available between 2pm and 3pm Monday to Friday. To book an interview telephone (07) 4191 4576.

Legacy Laurel Club

Tombola
A reminder of the RSL Women’s Auxiliary’s pre-Christmas Tombola in Hervey House at the RSL Club on Wednesday, October 20. Doors will open at 9.30 for 10.00 am start. ‘Happy Jacks’ OBE Club
A further reminder of the OBE Xmas function which will be held on Sunday, November 28 in Hervey House at the RSL Club, 11.30 for a 12.00 noon lunch. Admission is by ticket only at a cost of $25.00 per person. Tickets are available from Noel Gomersall (4122 1595). Members are invited to bring their wife/husband, partner, carer or a friend.
